Salary: ₩60,000,000 – ₩80,000,000 per annum
An international consumer goods manufacturer is looking for an Account Manager. The chosen applicant will drive sales growth, strengthen retailer partnerships, deliver impactful training, and ensure merchandising excellence.
Responsibilities:
- Achieve sales targets through the development of the existing retailer database and new business opportunities in line with the distribution strategy
- Develop sales channels across department store chains, independent retailers, national accounts and branch calls, including product launches, promotions and campaigns
- Lead Strategic Joint Business Planning process to set performance objectives, financial targets and milestones
- Coordinate involvement of company personnel to meet account performance objectives and customer expectations
- Train retailer sales staff in product demonstration, merchandising and selling skills to build engagement and performance
- Maintain and install merchandising displays to company standards
- Provide daily reporting and planning through the CRM system and update the Sales Manager on market development, opportunities and risks
- Organise cost-effective journey plans including accommodation, with flexibility for weekend and evening work
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or above in a relevant field (specialisation within sales or key account management is ideal)
- Experience in the sales department (consumer goods industry and multi-national company is preferred)
- Experience in managing and developing sales through department store online malls, including e-commerce operations, promotional planning, and digital merchandising execution
- Experience with developing distribution and sales of branded goods
- Proficient in MS Office
- Strong negotiation skills with department stores and large multistore retailers
- Proven account management or other relevant experience is preferred
- Experience from competitive sales cultures and with both small independent retailers and sophisticated multiple retailers (especially for the major department stores) is highly preferred
- Ability and willingness to travel
- Fluent level written and verbal Korean and English
