An equipment manufacturer is looking for an Indirect Purchasing Specialist. The chosen applicant will be managing indirect procurement activities, including sourcing, supplier management, contract negotiation, and process optimisation.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute indirect sourcing strategies
- Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to maximise cost savings and value
- Manage supplier relationships, contracts, and service performance
- Conduct spend analysis and reporting to identify optimisation and consolidation opportunities
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align procurement strategies with business needs
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies, procedures, and ethical standards
- Utilise ERP and e-procurement systems to support process improvement initiatives
- Resolve supplier performance issues and manage risks to ensure service quality and timeliness
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or above in business administration, supply chain management, or related field
- 10-15 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain (semiconductor/display industry is preferred)
- Proficient in procurement systems and spend analysis tools
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Proficient in English is preferred
