Business Development Executive

    Location: Seoul Capital Area

    Contract Type: Permanent

    Salary: ₩110,000,000 – ₩170,000,000 per annum

    A foreign insurance company is searching for a Business Development Executive. The chosen applicant will be responsible for driving new business growth through strategy, prospect management, and client relationships.

    Responsibilities:

    • Achieve new business objectives as established by the Regional Sales Manager.
    • Develop strategy and complete call plans or reports to ensure that all prospects’ information and documentation are updated in the SRS (Strategic Relationship System)
    • Build and maintain excellent relationships with prospective clients and brokers to
      successfully create continuous new business opportunities
    • Manage new business opportunities by continuously developing prospects
    • Maintain an active involvement in the local insurance and brokerage community by
      participating in meetings, conferences, and industry-related functions
    • Maintain a thorough understanding of competitors’ products, services, current pricing strategy and practices

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree or above in any discipline
    • 5-8 years of working experience in risk management, loss prevention engineering, claims or underwriting
    • Skilled in MS Office
    • Ability to develop strong relationships with clients
    • Excellent interpersonal skills, including facilitating and presentation
    • Proficient in written and verbal English

    Preferred requirements:

    • Experience in the broader insurance industry
    • Knowledge of sales processes (prospecting, nurturing, follow-up, follow-through,
      negotiating, closing) and proven sales experience
    • Proficient in written and verbal Mandarin or Cantonese
