A financial services startup providing product and loan comparison services, committed to improving convenient financial lifestyles, is hiring a DevOps Engineer responsible for managing Kubernetes and Istio-based service clusters. We welcome applications from professionals with 8+ years of development and AWS-based infrastructure operations experience.
Responsibilities
- Manage service clusters based on Kubernetes and Istio.
- Optimize CI/CD pipelines and automate deployment processes to improve development speed and minimize errors.
- Enhance monitoring/alerting systems using LGTM (Loki, Grafana, Tempo, Mimir).
- Strengthen service reliability by implementing high-availability architecture.
- Manage resources based on IaC strategies.
- Troubleshoot incidents and design preventive solutions.
- Build systems that comply with security and regulatory standards.
- Experiment with and evaluate adoption of various open-source tools.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in development and AWS-based infrastructure operations.
- Hands-on experience operating services with Kubernetes and Istio.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language (Java, Go, Python, Node.js).
- Experience in managing and improving build/deployment, monitoring, and alerting systems (e.g., LGTM).
- Solid understanding of Linux and networking systems.
- Passion for automation and process efficiency.
- Preferred: experience operating and managing Service Mesh.
- Preferred: experience managing infrastructure environments using IaC.
- Preferred: experience handling large-scale traffic operations and financial regulations/security/network segmentation.
- Preferred: experience developing an IDP (Internal Developer Platform) such as Backstage.
