A foreign logistics firm is seeking a Head of Logistics. The selected candidate will lead multiple business units to drive profitability, operational efficiency, and long-term growth.
Responsibilities:
- Manage profit and loss across multiple business units and ensure financial targets are met
- Develop long-term strategies and execution plans that address changing business conditions and regulatory requirements
- Define market positioning and growth engines
- Identify and develop new market segments for business expansion
- Create innovative products and services across business units to meet evolving customer needs
- Lead integration of new mergers, acquisitions, or joint ventures with existing business units
- Maximise resource utilisation across business units to enhance operational efficiency
- Ensure compliance with local government regulations in all business operations
- Oversee quality assurance, risk management, and compliance execution
- Support regional account decision-making and performance monitoring
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related disciplines
- More than 10 years of experience in the logistics industry
- More than 8 years of experience in a managerial role
- Proven managerial experience and leadership capabilities
- Strong exposure to global logistics networks and international markets
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
- Skilled in MS Office
- Proficient in English and Korean
