A multinational luxury brand is looking for a Retail Area Manager. The chosen applicant will lead retail performance, store operations, and team management to achieve sales targets and maintain brand standards.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and manage sales KPIs through POS systems using data-driven insights
- Analyse and forecast sales figures and KPIs while managing costs
- Oversee performance management of sales staff
- Provide regular performance reports with key sales metrics analysis
- Maintain awareness of market trends, competitor activities, and consumer preferences
- Suggest and execute incentive plans to drive sales performance
- Oversee daily store operations and resolve operational issues
- Ensure store environments meet brand standards
- Optimise inventory mix to align with market demands
- Develop and execute staffing strategies, including recruitment and retention
- Participate in the recruitment of sales staff
- Conduct performance appraisals and identify development opportunities
- Partner with store managers on customer engagement plans
- Build credibility by leveraging business indicators to identify challenges and opportunities
- Collaborate with other departments for seamless execution of strategies
- Participate in cross-functional projects to enhance retail performance and client engagement
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, retail management, marketing, or a related field
- 7-8 years of experience in retail sales, store operations, or related fields
- Experience and proven success in data analysis, business intelligence, or the retail field with strong analytical and synthesis skills
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in written and verbal English
