Retail HR Manager

    Location: Seoul Capital Area

    Contract Type: Temporary

    Salary: ₩60,000,000 – ₩80,000,000 per annum

    An international consumer goods company is looking for a Retail HR Manager. The selected candidate will handle HR operations for retail staff, including administration, employee support, payroll, recruitment, onboarding, and HR reporting.

    Responsibilities:

    • Manage HR administration for retail employees, including employment status changes, probation reviews, and contract renewals
    • Support the annual performance review process for store staff
    • Maintain and update employee files, personnel documents, and HRIS data
    • Coordinate HR policy announcements, compliance notices, and general inquiries with stores
    • Collect resignation letters and support the exit administration
    • Serve as a point of contact for store employees on HR-related matters
    • Assist in implementing employee engagement activities and store communication programs
    • Support statutory online training, compliance training, and retail product training schedules
    • Escalate store issues or employee concerns to HR leadership in a timely manner
    • Prepare basic monthly payroll data for store employees, including incentives
    • Validate working hours, shift allowances, and special pay items, including part-timers
    • Support monthly tax reports, medical check-up coordination, and employee benefit inquiries
    • Assist in maintaining flexible benefit program records and group insurance changes
    • Coordinate interviews for store-level roles and liaise with vendors or recruiters
    • Prepare employment contracts, hiring documents, and personnel announcements
    • Support onboarding and first-day orientation for new joiners
    • Collect and verify mandatory submission documents
    • Ensure accuracy of HRIS updates and maintain organised, audit-ready documentation
    • Support preparation of monthly HR reports and collaborate with Finance when needed

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree preferred
    • 3-5 years of HR experience (retail or customer-facing service industry is preferred)
    • Experience in HR administration, store HR support, or retail staffing coordination
    • Proficient in MS Office
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
    • Proficient in written and verbal Korean

    Preferred requirements:

    • Experience in HRIS or Workday
    • Basic level English
