A global biotechnology company is seeking a Legal Counsel to oversee in-house legal affairs. Professionals with 5+ years of experience are encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities:
- Provide legal review and advisory services related to business matters such as licensing, joint ventures, and M&A
- Draft and review domestic and international legal documents, including contracts
- Review and advise on transactions specific to the biotech industry (IP, R&D, CMO, CRO, etc.)
- Manage and respond to domestic and international disputes and litigation
- Ensure compliance with various regulations for listed companies
- Manage external law firm consultations
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher
- 5+ years of relevant experience
- Proficiency in English sufficient for drafting and reviewing legal documents (required)
- No restrictions on international business travel
- Licensed attorney (domestic or international, including law school graduates) preferred
- Experience as in-house counsel at a listed company preferred
- Experience in the pharmaceutical/biotech industry preferred
