Sales Manager

    Location: Seoul Capital Area

    Contract Type: Permanent

    Salary: ₩62 million/year

    A Sales Manager role is now open in a global manufacturing company. The chosen applicant will be driving margin growth, building and maintaining strong customer relationships, and identifying new business opportunities.

    Responsibilities:

    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers in assigned markets
    • Drive margin growth and optimise customer accounts to achieve short- and long-term returns
    • Lead customer contract negotiations and develop engagement strategies for pricing, volume, and terms
    • Identify and develop new customers based on business strategy with a focus on proactive hunting
    • Stay informed about market conditions, competitor developments, and sales opportunities while assessing market intelligence
    • Administer active contracts, manage overall customer relationships, and proactively handle credit management
    • Utilise internal resources to maintain and grow market share aligned with business objectives
    • Develop detailed account plans for assigned customers and deliver presentations internally and externally
    • Collaborate closely with CSRs, plant schedulers, transportation teams, and technical support personnel

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree or above in science or engineering (MBA is preferred)
    • More than 10 years of experience in commercial sales, marketing, or business
      development
    • Experience with multinational customer contract negotiations
    • Knowledge and understanding of commercial marketing and sales methods, contract negotiations and relationship management
    • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
    • Native level Korean; proficient in English; additional language is a plus
