A Sales Manager role is now open in a global manufacturing company. The chosen applicant will be driving margin growth, building and maintaining strong customer relationships, and identifying new business opportunities.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers in assigned markets
- Drive margin growth and optimise customer accounts to achieve short- and long-term returns
- Lead customer contract negotiations and develop engagement strategies for pricing, volume, and terms
- Identify and develop new customers based on business strategy with a focus on proactive hunting
- Stay informed about market conditions, competitor developments, and sales opportunities while assessing market intelligence
- Administer active contracts, manage overall customer relationships, and proactively handle credit management
- Utilise internal resources to maintain and grow market share aligned with business objectives
- Develop detailed account plans for assigned customers and deliver presentations internally and externally
- Collaborate closely with CSRs, plant schedulers, transportation teams, and technical support personnel
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or above in science or engineering (MBA is preferred)
- More than 10 years of experience in commercial sales, marketing, or business
development - Experience with multinational customer contract negotiations
- Knowledge and understanding of commercial marketing and sales methods, contract negotiations and relationship management
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Native level Korean; proficient in English; additional language is a plus
