A technology company is searching for a Technical Lead. The chosen applicant will be responsible for supporting local customers with technical issues, developing and deploying advanced software components for embedded systems.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with local customers and front-end teams to provide responsive support in resolving technical issues and answering technical inquiries
- Develop, validate, and deploy software components such as advanced security mechanisms and next-generation connectivity protocols for embedded operating systems
- Participate in the development of next-generation operating systems for future mobile devices
- Collaborate in an agile development environment with global teams to build products that exceed customer expectations
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of products and development methodologies
- Attend extensive product, software, and process training
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or above in electrical, electronics, computer engineering, or related fields
- More than 10 years of working experience in software development
- Professional experience in the embedded software development area
- Experience in testing and debugging embedded devices using dedicated emulators or simulators
- Excellent front-end customer support experience
- Proficient in Embedded C/Java programming languages
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
- Knowledge of embedded technologies or ecosystem:
- Microcontroller programming
- Low-level protocols like SPI, UART, I2C
- Device driver programming
- Knowledge of smartcards, embedded software security, or JavaCard is a plus
- Ability and willingness to travel
- Fluent level English and Korean
