Sales Director

    Location: Seoul Capital Area

    Contract Type: Permanent

    Salary: ₩100,000,000 – ₩130,000,000 per annum

    A foreign consumer goods company is looking for a Sales Director. The selected applicant will be in charge of developing and executing the sales strategy to drive revenue growth and brand presence.

    Responsibilities:

    • Develop, implement, and execute the sales vision, framework, and strategy to consistently grow revenue and profitability in Korea
    • Ensure brand presence is preferred and prominent in store and digital spaces within strategic retailers to deliver a premium consumer experience
    • Build and lead a high-performing sales organisation while influencing cross-functional teams to meet or exceed revenue targets and distribution goals
    • Coordinate resources across Commercial, Marketing, Planning, and Operations to improve profitable growth and drive brand position in strategic accounts
    • Develop annual and monthly sales plans aligned with the company’s business plan, including customer retention strategies and necessary adjustments
    • Lead E-commerce planning, strategy, content, analytics, and web technologies for key customers
    • Stay informed on changes in the sales environment to serve organisational objectives effectively
    • Devise and lead initiatives that enhance retailer sales, profitability, and consumer experience
    • Optimize cross-functional go-to-market processes
    • Operate within approved budgets, policies, and brand standards
    • Influence channel assortment and wholesale pricing decisions
    • Collaborate and share insights with global and regional counterparts to facilitate learning and improvements

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (advanced degree is highly desirable)
    • More than 15 years of experience growing sales leadership responsibility, managing a portfolio of retail/eComm customers and direct-to-consumer business
    • Strong history of developing, implementing, and executing online strategy and initiatives with key eComm platforms/retailer accounts
    • Proven outstanding account management skills with major strategic accounts
    • Keen understanding and experience of assortment planning, merchandising, and consumer experience initiatives
    • Outstanding negotiation, communication, and presentation skills
    • Experience in communicating and presenting at a senior executive and board of directors’ level
    • Proficient in Korean and English

    • Experience in a multicultural environment
    • Experience in retail, lifestyle, sporting goods, or consumer goods
