We are seeking a Backend Engineer to design and develop backend architecture for our AI Native Observability Service at a SaaS-based IT services company. Candidates with relevant expertise and experience are encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop backend architecture for AI Native Observability services
- Research methods for data collection/analysis to minimize IT environment incidents/issues and propose optimization strategies
- Collect, process, and provide APIs for frontend requirements
- Research and propose efficient data storage structures
- Discover and develop new monitoring domains
Requirements
- Understanding of IT infrastructure such as OS, networks, and file systems
- Familiarity with software development methodologies
- Experience developing socket network programs based on the Netty Framework
- Experience in application server development using Spring Framework
- Development experience using Spring Security and JPA
- Experience with data processing using RDBMS and NoSQL
- Experience designing and operating Microservices Architecture (MSA)
- Experience ensuring performance optimization and system stability in high-traffic environments
- Ability to enhance development productivity and efficiency using AI tools
- Experience using or developing on public cloud environments
- Experience with Kubernetes or Kubernetes-based development
- Experience developing and operating services in multi-region, multi-cloud environments
- Strong documentation skills for ideas and technical opinions
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in SaaS service development
- Experience as a development lead or Project Manager (PM)
- Experience maintaining libraries or open-source projects
- Experience using or developing monitoring services
- Hands-on experience with Prometheus for metrics collection, alert setup, and monitoring operations
- Experience designing dashboards and visualizing data using Grafana
- Possession of public cloud or Kubernetes certifications
- Experience speaking at external conferences
