A leading adult education content company in Korea is hiring a Backend Engineer to be responsible for developing core service features and AI-powered new service backends.
We welcome applications from professionals with 5+ years of backend development experience.
Responsibilities
- Develop core service features and AI-powered new service backends
- Interpret the planning intent of AI-based services and implement them into executable structures
- Coordinate and resolve technical requirements through collaboration
- Conduct technical improvements and experiments for product stability, such as code quality enhancement and performance optimization
Requirements
- 5+ years of backend development experience
- Experience in end-to-end service development and operation in a JavaScript environment
- Experience designing backend logic and architecture based on business requirements
- Experience in relational database schema design, query optimization, and operations
- Experience designing, implementing, and documenting REST APIs
- Experience collaborating with Git, with understanding of branching strategies and collaboration processes
- Preferred qualifications:
- Understanding of asynchronous network systems and web server programming
- Experience in performance-focused design and optimization
- Experience in deploying and operating services in cloud environments
- Experience in root cause analysis and implementing structural improvements
- Experience in evaluating/introducing new technologies and setting technical directions
