We are seeking a Guidance & Control (GNC) Engineer with relevant experience to take part in the development of launch vehicle systems. Experienced professionals with strong expertise in aerospace control systems are encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities:
- Develop guidance, navigation, and control algorithms
- Define GNC system requirements and design architecture for launch vehicles
- Develop guidance algorithms
- Develop navigation filters
- Design controllers
- Build simulation environments
- Analyze and simulate GNC algorithms
Requirements:
- Master’s degree or higher in Aerospace Engineering, Control Engineering, Electrical & Electronic Engineering, or Mechatronics (PhD preferred)
- 3+ years of relevant work experience (PhD holders preferred)
- Proficiency in English
- Understanding of launch vehicle and flight vehicle GNC systems
- Knowledge of guidance, navigation, and control theory
- Understanding of six-degree-of-freedom flight dynamics
- Ability to analyze and interpret signal processing
- Proficiency in modeling and simulation with MATLAB/Simulink
- Mathematical modeling and system analysis skills
- Ability to use data analysis and visualization tools
- Experience in embedded system development and understanding of real-time operating systems (RTOS) (preferred)
- Understanding of multivariable and nonlinear control theory (preferred)
- Experience with launch vehicle/flight vehicle staging and mission design (preferred)
- Knowledge of Robot Operating System (ROS)-based development (preferred)
- Prior experience in GNC system development for launch vehicles/flight vehicles (preferred)
- Aerospace project experience (preferred)
- Experience publishing research papers or filing patents in related fields (preferred)
- Experience analyzing results using state-space and frequency-domain simulations (preferred)
- Experience using tools such as STK, ODTK, Astrogator, ASTOS, or similar (preferred)
- Experience verifying algorithms through wind tunnel or flight testing based on simulation results (preferred)
