We are hiring a CTO for a B2B e-commerce company to design and optimize camera pipelines and tune on-device inference performance. We are seeking professionals with relevant work experience.
Responsibilities
- Design/optimization of camera pipeline (AVFoundation/CameraX), embedding on-device inference (Core ML/TFLite), and performance tuning
- Left/right channel audio control (AVAudioSession/AudioTrack) and millisecond-level scheduling stabilization
- Design of RN ↔ Native Bridge/JSI modules, establish common interfaces (HeadPose, Stimulus)
- Design for minimal personal data collection/encryption/consent and disclosure (sensitive to PIPA/HIPAA)
- Build/deployment automation (Fastlane, GitHub Actions), quality/observability management (Crashlytics/Sentry)
Requirements
- Experience in commercialization of real-time (camera + audio) mobile applications
- Experience with on-device AI inference (TFLite/Core ML)
- Experience in hybrid app (RN ↔ Native) design
- Security/deployment experience
- Startup founding experience
- Preferred: startup building/recruitment/code review leadership experience
- Preferred: graduates of top universities in science/engineering
