A global semiconductor equipment manufacturing company is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineering Leader. The selected candidate will lead the mechanical design team, overseeing development and ensuring project delivery for semiconductor furnace equipment.
Responsibilities:
Lead and oversee mechanical design and development of semiconductor furnace equipment
Manage and mentor the mechanical design team to meet project timelines and deliverables
Develop conceptual designs including equipment layout, structural planning, module arrangement, and component selection
Perform detailed design using 2D/3D CAD software for structures, modules, and components
Generate Bills of Materials (BOM) and create precise part drawings according to design requirements
Manage and document design data using PLM/PDM systems
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimise designs for manufacturability and performance
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or above in Mechanical Engineering or related field
More than 15 years of mechanical design experience with a focus on semiconductor equipment
Proven leadership experience managing design teams and complex projects
Prior experience in designing semiconductor furnace equipment
Proficient in 2D/3D CAD software (SolidWorks, CATIA, AutoCAD)
Skilled in PLM/PDM systems for data and documentation management
Knowledge of thermal systems, material selection, and high-precision mechanical components is a plus
Proficient in English
