A company specializing in research and development of automotive electronic components is looking for a Sales Director to oversee strategic sales for both global and domestic OEMs. Applicants with 10+ years of Tier 1 automotive electronics/components experience are encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities:
- Lead strategic sales for global and domestic automotive OEMs and Tier 1 clients
- Identify new business opportunities and lead major project acquisitions
- Collaborate with domestic and overseas subsidiaries to establish and implement global sales strategies
- Build and maintain long-term partnerships with key clients
- Develop and manage sales strategies, forecasts, and pipelines to achieve revenue targets
- Work closely with product/technology teams to reflect customer requirements and support proposal preparation
- Analyze global market and competitor trends to inform sales strategies
Requirements:
- 10+ years of experience in automotive electronics/components/modules at a Tier 1 supplier
- Proven experience in sales with global OEMs
- Bachelor’s degree or higher (any major)
- Fluent in English (able to negotiate and lead meetings with native speakers)
- Preferred: 20+ years of industry experience
- Preferred: Sales experience in infotainment products (wireless charging, USB, HMI, etc.)
- Preferred: Previous experience as head of sales at a global Tier 1 or electronics components company
