A global sealing solutions company is searching for a Head of Sales. The chosen applicant will be in charge of driving revenue growth through sales strategy, team leadership, client management, and market analysis.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies for Pharmerging regions
- Identify growth opportunities in the parenteral packaging market, including new business, partnerships, and expansion
- Establish and drive revenue goals aligned with company objectives
- Lead, mentor, and manage regional sales teams to ensure performance and growth
- Provide training, coaching, and support to sales managers and representatives
- Foster a collaborative and high-performance sales culture
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, industry leaders, and stakeholders
- Serve as primary contact for key accounts and negotiate high-value deals
- Monitor and analyse market trends, competition, and customer needs
- Stay updated on regulatory changes, market dynamics, and emerging technologies
- Provide insights and updates to senior leadership on market conditions and performance
- Develop sales forecasts and track performance metrics to achieve regional targets
- Prepare and present sales reports and performance reviews to senior leadership
- Manage and optimise the sales budget to ensure efficient resource allocation
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, life sciences, pharmaceutical sciences, or a related field (MBA or advanced degree is a plus)
- 5-7 years of experience in sales leadership roles (pharmaceutical packaging industry is ideal)
- Experience managing and leading cross-cultural, geographically diverse teams
- Proven track record of driving sales growth in emerging markets, particularly in the
Pharmerging regions - Strong network within the pharmaceutical and packaging industries in emerging markets
- Deep understanding of the pharmaceutical packaging industry, customer needs, and
market dynamics - Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Ability and willingness to travel
- Fluent level English; other languages are a plus
