A global life science company is looking for a Senior OLED Chemist. The chosen candidate will develop OLED materials, support project alignment, and ensure safe and effective laboratory and production processes.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop new OLED materials
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure alignment with customer requirements
- Facilitate clear communication within the team and across departments
- Perform laboratory work, including synthesis, purification, and analytical data
interpretation - Develop and implement synthetic routes for OLED materials suitable for scale-up
production - Plan and execute tasks to meet project timelines and deliverables
- Comply with safe working practices and consider EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) factors in all processes
Requirements:
- Master’s degree or above in Chemistry (with a focus on Organic Synthesis is preferred)
- More than 10 years of relevant experience in the OLED industry
- Proven track record in leading research projects and managing a team
- Strong understanding of OLED materials and the latest market trends
- Expertise in organic synthesis and related chemical techniques
- Proficient in organic synthesis methodologies and analytical techniques, with the ability to interpret analytical data
- Excellent communication skills
- Proficient in English
