A global packaging solutions provider is looking for a Senior Accountant. The selected applicant will manage end-to-end accounting operations, including payments, receivables, month-end closing, and other related duties.
Responsibilities:
- Manage local and foreign payments, including vendor settlements, employee expenses, customs duties, taxes, and intercompany transactions, ensuring timely and accurate processing
- Oversee Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions, including invoice issuance, AR collections, AP payments, credit control, and maintenance of vendor and customer master data in JDE
- Perform month-end closing activities, such as accruals, FX revaluation, fixed asset depreciation, cost accounting reviews, and preparation of global/local monthly reports
- Prepare and file tax returns (VAT and corporate income tax) with complete supporting documentation and ensure compliance with tax regulations
- Coordinate internal and external audits by preparing documentation, participating in interviews, and providing explanations
- Develop and monitor overhead and OPE budget plans, providing variance analysis where needed
- Support Supply Chain Management by reconciling raw materials, assisting with stocktaking, and maintaining cost master files
- Provide sales and CSR support by updating forecasts and supplying data for decision-making
Requirements:
- 8-14 years of relevant experience (Assistant Manager-Manager level) is preferred
- Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, JDE, or equivalent
- Understanding of month-end closing and reporting processes in multinational companies
- Ability to handle end-to-end accounting operations and conduct financial data
analysis - Diversified accounting experience is preferred
- Strong numerical aptitude and a meticulous work approach
