A global packaging solutions provider is seeking a Senior Finance Analyst. The selected applicant will oversee accounting operations, financial planning, and compliance activities while ensuring alignment with business objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end accounting operations, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and Fixed Assets
- Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and year-end closings, including reconciliations, accruals, and FX revaluations
- Oversee vendor payments, employee expense claims, corporate card settlements, and intercompany transactions
- Lead the annual budgeting process and provide detailed financial planning and analysis
- Monitor and control overhead costs and COGS, ensuring alignment with business objectives
- Prepare financial models, forecasts, and management reports (P&L, cash flow, variance analysis, margin analysis)
- Manage corporate income tax, VAT, and withholding tax filings, ensuring full compliance with Korean tax regulations
- Partner with SCM and Sales teams for accurate financial reporting, inventory reconciliation, and process improvement initiatives
- Lead and mentor junior accounting staff while supporting team development
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or above in accounting, finance, or related field (CPA, CMA, or
equivalent preferred) - 10-13 years of relevant experience (multinational or manufacturing companies is ideal)
- Proven expertise in AP, AR, and General Ledger closing activities
- Hands-on experience leading budgeting processes and financial planning
- Strong understanding of Korean GAAP, statutory requirements, US GAAP, and SOX
compliance - Proficient in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, JDE) and advanced MS Office skills
(especially Excel & PowerPoint) - Demonstrated stakeholder management skills and the ability to collaborate across
functions (Finance, SCM, HR, Legal, and Global teams) - Business level English
